Slavery in ancient Greece
Slavery was very common in ancient Greece. Slaves were working either as domestic workers or in public positions. Unlike today, back then the relations between masters and slaves were totally different. It seems to be some true human relation between them. However, there are still some references of cruelty upon slaves with the interesting information that in such case a slave could seek for an asylum.
